The effects of Covid-19 on our activities

According to the Finnish Government’s briefing on March 16, 2020, the circumstances in Finland are exceptional due to the Corona virus situation. The Government’s new policy is valid until April 13, 2020, and we at The Cable Factory will naturally follow it.

The events at our facilities are cancelled, our actors have suspended their activities, and the museums have closed their doors.

However, the offices and workrooms at Kiinteistö Oy Kaapelitalo, i.e. The Cable Factory, Suvilahti and Nilsiänkatu 10, will remain open. The restaurants in The Cable Factory and Suvilahti are also open for the time being. The work on the construction site of the new Helsinki Dance House will continue as usual for the time being.

Like in many other organizations, the staff have mainly shifted to remote work. There are still a few people working at the offices, but we aim at keeping their number at a minimum in order to minimize close contact, but our other staff members serve our customers by phone and email. We will update the contact information on our web pages with a link showing each week’s status. We will try to serve and help our tenants and our customers to the best of our ability.

We check regularly the information from authorities, and inform more as the situation develops on our websites: kaapelitehdas.fisuvilahti.fi and nilsiankatu10.fi, as well as on our social media channels: Facebook: @kaapelitehdas & suvilahti, @nilsiankatu10 Twitter: @kaapeli Instagram: @kaapelitehdas, @suvilahtihelsinki

In addition, it is worth checking the websites and social media channels of the tenants working at the Cable Factory, Suvilahti and Nilsiänkatu 10.

Let’s stay healthy and take care of each other! This too shall pass.
